Mechanical Manager Fire Protection - Pharma Project in Blanchardstown, Dublin

Our client, one of Ireland's largest Building and Engineering companies, is seeking a Mechanical Manager Fire Protection for a significant Pharma project in Blanchardstown, Dublin. We offer both contractor and PAYE positions with attractive packages, promising a lengthy career for the right candidate.

Experience & Requirements:

• Background in trade or Mechanical Engineering with a proven track record in managing Mechanical Fire Protection in Pharma or similar industries, with at least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Manager.
• Strong experience in managing fire protection systems, including installation of sprinkler and detection systems.
• Familiarity with completing risk assessments, reports, and other necessary documentation.
• Experience in managing site QA in conjunction with the Mechanical Construction Manager, including setup, management, and closeout of files.
• Ability to manage all costs associated with the fire protection package.
• Proficiency in day-to-day on-site operations management.
• Experience in managing subcontractor activities, tracking progress against schedule, and manpower levels.
• Attendance at various site meetings, project reviews, and coordination meetings.
• Proactive and effective communicator with the ability to work well in a multifunctional project team.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or strong Mechanical trade background.
• Experience with fire protection and fire systems.
• Experience in client, vendor, and contractor interaction and management.
