Building Information Modelling (BIM) Engineer - Data Centre Project

Location: Gävleborgs län, Sweden

A prominent building and engineering company in the United Kingdom and Ireland, boasting over a century of experience, is in search of qualified BIM professionals for participation in a cutting-edge data center project in Gävleborgs län, Sweden.

The engineer will leverage their expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, to generate plans that prioritize construction efficiency and exceptional quality. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative projects fostered by a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents to identify BIM requirements.
• Analyze 3D BIM models for technical aspects, constructability, and clashes.
• Help develop project plans and ensure everyone understands their roles.
• Involved in meetings to finalize the Data Production Plan (DPD).
• Coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, computing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction and BIM Engineering.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency in BIM software, encompassing Autodesk Revit, Viewpoints for Projects (VFP), Synchro Pro, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
