Health & Safety Lead - Pharma Project in West Dublin

Our client, one of Ireland's largest Building and Engineering companies, is seeking a Health & Safety Lead for a significant Pharma project in West Dublin. We offer both contractor and PAYE positions with attractive packages, promising a lengthy career for the right candidate.

Experience & Requirements:

- Background as a Health & Safety Lead with a proven track record in leading teams in Pharma or similar industries, with at least 5 years of experience.

- Proficiency in conducting Toolbox Safety talks and fostering a proactive health, safety, and well-being culture.

- Experience in drafting and communicating EHS policies, preferably certified at IOSH level (CMIOSH preferred).

- Degree or equivalent in Environmental, Health, and Safety management.

- Minimum 5 years of EHS management experience.

- Familiarity with implementing EHS Management Systems and supporting procedures.

- Expertise in disaster planning, resolution, and recovery.

- Advanced knowledge of construction health and safety principles with technical skills in occupational safety and health disciplines.

- Experience in developing and implementing behavioural safety programmes.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as influencing and negotiation skills.

- Ability to coordinate and lead incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

- Capable of influencing employee work practices through dialogue, relationship building, and behavioural safety coaching.

Salary: Contractor positions offer up to €70 per hour for 45 hours per week, with PAYE positions available.
