Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor to achieve our commercial goals.
  • Take charge of specific work packages, ensuring thorough execution and responsibility.
  • Utilize your skills in interpreting plan drawings and isometrics to create detailed bills of quantities, along with accurate labor hours and material cost estimations.
  • Actively track and manage project costs and labor, maintaining a close eye on budget adherence.
  • Monitor the project's financial progress, comparing actual spending against the planned schedule for various work packages.
  • Conduct comprehensive construction take-offs and develop detailed construction cost plans.
  • Deliver precise and timely cost reports each month, keeping the project's financial health in clear view.
  • Manage the monthly valuation submission and certification process, ensuring smooth cash flow.
  • Prepare accurate assessments, payment certifications, and notices for subcontractors, ensuring timely and fair compensation.
  • Oversee the financial closure of work packages within the specific timelines of each project.
  • Safeguard the company from third-party claims, ensuring all interests are protected.
  • Handle subcontract package procurement, from contract agreement to managing the final account stages.



Key Role Requirements:

  • Bring your expertise in Mechanical & Electrical fields, especially in data center projects.
  • Support our Senior Quantity Surveyor in achieving both short-term and long-term commercial objectives.
  • Be responsible for various tasks, including generating bills of quantities, labor estimates, material costs, monitoring project expenditures, and managing subcontractor relationships.


Who are we looking for?

  • A professional with a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field, with a strong background in M&E measurement, take-offs, and subcontract management.
  • Someone who has previously worked with an M&E contractor is highly preferred.
  • Data Centre, Pharma or other large Industrial type projects
