Job Summary

The firm is seeking an Associate to join the Litigation group, focusing on International Arbitration in their New York office.


Education & Bar Admission

  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD)
  • Bar Admission: Must be admitted to the New York Bar


Experience Required

  • Experience Level: 4 to 6 years
  • Law Firm Experience: Experience working in a global law firm with a US presence is preferred.
  • Arbitration Experience:
  • Experience with arbitration under the rules of well-known arbitral institutions such as ICC, ICDR/AAA, LCIA, or SIAC.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in Investor-State arbitration and commercial arbitration.
  • Litigation Experience:
  • General litigation experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in arbitration-related litigation and enforcement matters.
  • Skills:
  • Strong drafting and research skills (NY or other US jurisdictions required).
  • Public international law knowledge is helpful.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of work with minimal oversight.
  • Personal Qualities:
  • Must be collegial, collaborative, have a growth mindset, and be a team player.
  • Language Skills:
  • Spanish, French, or Arabic language skills are highly desirable.
  • Commitment to building a professional profile and contributing to marketing and business development efforts in arbitration.

Physical Demands

Pay Transparency

In line with New York's Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position, if hired in New York, is $310,000 - $390,000 per year. Compensation will depend on various factors, including the candidate's geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications.
