Job Description:

A leading law firm is seeking a candidate for an Associate position to support its Corporate & Private Equity practice. The candidate may sit in either the Dallas or Pittsburgh office.


The Corporate and Private Equity Department consists of more than 90 attorneys whose practices focus on all types of private equity transactions including leveraged buy-outs, independent sponsor transactions, rollups, minority and junior capital investments, 'going private' transactions and purchases of troubled companies in or out of bankruptcy. Job Requirements:

  • The firm is seeking 2nd – 3rd year associate candidates with experience in acquisitions for private equity funds.
  • The private equity department has a large, national platform that the firm is seeking to further expand with the right candidate.
  • Please be advised that this is a search with a focus on the Dallas and Pittsburgh markets.
  • Must have a strong academic record, excellent writing and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently with clients and colleagues.
