Role Overview: The firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join its New York office. The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of experience handling general complex commercial litigation, securities litigation, and mergers & acquisitions/corporate governance litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of litigation cases, including case strategy, discovery, motions practice, and trial preparation.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior associates on complex legal issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients, attend client meetings, and participate in negotiations.
• Stay informed about legal developments and industry trends relevant to litigation practice areas.

Skills and Experience Required:

• 6-7 years of experience in general complex commercial litigation and/or securities litigation, mergers & acquisitions/corporate governance litigation at a reputable law firm.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
• JD from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar (or eligible for admission).

Compensation and Benefits:

• Anticipated annual base salary range of $390,000 to $420,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
