About the Role

The firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Technology Transactions & Privacy practice in Dallas. This role offers the opportunity to counsel clients on a wide array of technology-driven deals and regulatory challenges.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate a variety of technology agreements, including licensing, development, and product-related contracts.
  • Advise on intellectual property matters in connection with transactions such as mergers, financings, and strategic partnerships.
  • Support transactions and regulatory considerations involving innovative technologies.
  • Provide counsel to start-ups and established companies on commercial agreements, compliance, and go-to-market strategies.


Key Qualifications

  • At least four years of experience at a large law firm handling technology transactions, licensing, or similar commercial and IP matters.
  • Familiarity or interest in areas such as software, cloud services, artificial intelligence, fintech, digital content, or hardware.
  • Strong academic credentials and the ability to deliver practical, business-focused legal advice.
