Private Fund/Debt Financing Associate (2+ years)

The Capital Markets group is looking for candidates with experience in transactions that provide debt financing solutions for fund sponsors and fund investors, including collateralized fund obligations, rated note feeders, and NAV facilities. Prior experience working with private equity fund sponsors or lenders, as well as knowledge of structured finance and capital markets, is essential.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Experience reviewing private equity fund documents and drafting debt financing documents, including ancillary documents.
• Proven ability to manage transactions and work effectively on a deal team.
• Driven, motivated to learn, and capable of adding value in a client-facing practice.
• Licensed to practice law in Charlotte, NC, New York, NY, or Washington, DC.

Expected annual base salary range: $250,000 - $400,000. Actual compensation will vary based on qualifications, relevant experience, and work location, among other factors.
