Junior to Mid-level Antitrust Associate

Location: Washington, DC

Salary: $235,000 to $310,000

A leading AM Law 200 firm seeks a junior to mid-level attorney to join its antitrust practice. The antitrust team represents companies in DOJ, FTC, FCC, and state attorney general investigations. They navigate complex mergers/acquisitions, litigate antitrust cases nationwide, and advise on antitrust compliance.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 3-5 years of experience practicing antitrust law.
• Bar membership in Washington, D.C.
• Prior experience with the Department of Justice Antitrust Division (DOJ) or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) (preferred).
• Experience handling civil antitrust conduct or merger/joint venture analysis and investigations.
• Experience litigating antitrust matters, including drafting motions and briefs and participating in depositions and witness prep.
• Experience in the telecommunications and internet sector (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively within a team.
