Your Role:
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, your primary responsibilities will involve delivering conventional respiratory therapy to a diverse patient population. Your tasks will include:
- Administering treatments such as oxygen therapy, humidity therapy, airway management, resuscitation, and mechanical ventilation.
- Recording treatment progress and monitoring environmental control systems.
- Conducting regular patient rounds and adjusting equipment and therapy as needed.
You will be expected to work 12-hour shifts based on the department's requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED.
- Hold a Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the Idaho State Board of Medicine.
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) registration within one year of hire, if eligible for registry.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult critical care within the past 5 years, including recent ICU experience within the last 3 years.
- Current certifications in BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP.
- Strong team player with a positive, cooperative, and professional attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
