Job Summary
A global finance practice group is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Securitization Associates to join their team in either the Boston or New York office. As a Securitization Associate, you'll work with various clients on complex securitization transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in structuring, negotiating, and documenting securitization transactions, including collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) and whole business securitizations
- Conduct due diligence and review legal documents related to securitization transactions
- Research and analyze legal issues concerning securitization
- Prepare and review offering materials and disclosure documents
- Collaborate with clients and cross-disciplinary attorneys to provide comprehensive legal advice
- Mentor and train junior associates within the group
- Stay informed on regulatory developments and industry trends in securitization
Required Skills/Abilities
- 3–5 years of experience at a large or global law firm, representing issuers, sponsors, borrowers, and lenders in structured finance and securitization transactions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong academic record and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York Bar, in good standing
Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $285,000 - $365,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
