Labor & Employment Attorney - Advisor and Counselor

Job Description:

Join a nationally-ranked Labor & Employment management-side practice group as an experienced advisor and counselor to employers. You'll work primarily with California clients, providing guidance on a broad spectrum of labor and employment matters. This position offers a full-time commitment with an annual billable hours range of 1750 – 1950.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal guidance to California-based clients on labor and employment issues.

- Draft employment policies, agreements, and severance packages.

- Conduct research and analysis on multi-state labor and employment matters.

- Represent clients in agency proceedings.

- Cultivate and sustain client relationships.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

- California bar admission.

- 7+ years focused on labor and employment law.

- Thorough understanding of federal and state employment laws.

- Strong research and writing skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
