Position: Executive Compensation Associate (3+ Years)

Location: New York, NY Office

Salary Range: $250,000 – $345,000 annually

Overview:

The firm is seeking an experienced Executive Compensation Associate with 3 to 5 years of expertise in executive compensation and benefits. The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of labor/employment law and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Compensation and Benefits: Provide comprehensive legal counsel on executive compensation matters, including the design, implementation, and compliance of compensation programs.
  • Labor and Employment Law: Advise clients on labor and employment issues, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • ERISA Compliance: Offer guidance on ERISA-related matters, including retirement plans and employee benefits.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in executive compensation and benefits law.
  • Legal Knowledge: Proficiency in labor/employment law and ERISA.
  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar Admission: Active membership in the New York State Bar.


Compensation:

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $250,000 to $345,000. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, and, if applicable, the location from which they will perform the job.
