Job Description:

As a Commercial Litigator in our Raleigh office, you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's vision of expanding Raleigh into one of its flagship locations. Working alongside two highly respected and influential attorneys who have a strong business network, you will have the opportunity to leverage your litigation expertise to complement their offering and contribute to the growth of the office.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and other business-related disputes.

2. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and tactics that align with the firm's objectives.

3. Manage client relationships and provide strategic advice and counsel on legal matters.

4. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, and represent clients in court proceedings.

5. Assist with business development efforts, including client outreach, networking events, and marketing initiatives.

6. Work closely with other attorneys and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of legal services.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.

2. Active member of the North Carolina Bar in good standing.

3. Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, with a preference for candidates with more extensive experience.

4. Strong litigation skills, including experience managing cases from inception to resolution.

5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

6. Demonstrated ability to generate business and cultivate client relationships.

7. Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
