Location: Lander, WY
As a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical department, your primary responsibility is to provide direct nursing care in accordance with the established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. You will also follow physician treatment plans and evidence-based practice/care standards.
Your tasks will include assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care needs, administering prescribed medications, changing dressings, cleaning wounds, and monitoring vital signs. Additionally, you will execute physician orders and provide explanations, education, and instructions to patients and their families as necessary. This role requires monitoring, documenting, and communicating patient conditions using computerized documentation systems, as well as coordinating patient discharge planning with other healthcare team members.
You must possess a current and valid Wyoming RN License or an equivalent compact license.
Candidates with 2 or more years of Acute Care experience will be given preference.
