Mid-Level Technology Patent Litigation Associate (NY, SF, SV, DC)

A prestigious global law firm is seeking a mid-level patent litigation associate to join its Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, or Washington, DC.

The IP & Technology group consists of approximately 100 attorneys who advise clients throughout the lifecycle of their most important technology assets – spanning patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and related issues. The Patent Litigation team combines proven courtroom experience, strategic approaches, and deep technical knowledge to enforce and defend patent rights in cutting-edge technology areas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle patent litigation matters in district courts, PTAB/IPR proceedings, and ITC investigations

- Work on cases for major technology clients like Samsung, Adobe, Boston Scientific, Google, Tesla, Nike and others

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in PTAB/IPR, district court patent litigation, and/or ITC proceedings

- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related technical field  

- Familiarity with source code review is preferred

- Excellent academic credentials and references

- Licensed to practice in the applicable jurisdiction

Compensation:

The salary range is $260,000 to $365,000 commensurate with experience for the Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Washington, DC locations.
