Engineer - Fluid Bed Technology



As a Process Engineer/Product Manager (f/m/d), your responsibilities will include:


- Acting as a Fluid Bed Process Engineer in the Fluid Bed Technology department.

- Developing projects/contracts from initial contact to commissioning phase.

- Coordinating projects and engineering activities, serving as a link between engineering disciplines and clients.

- Executing and/or supervising engineering activities and assisting in plant commissioning.

- Continuously improving and optimizing the technology of existing plants.

- Designing, engineering, and planning Fluid Bed plants.

- Providing technical sales support and participating in technical negotiations with clients during sales and contract close-out phases.

- Participating in marketing and selling strategies for this technology.

- Creating sales potential by identifying business opportunities for fluid bed applications.

- Attending and coordinating contract-related R&D testing and generating new intellectual property rights (IPR).

- Coordinating R&D activities within the PG Fluid Bed Technology.


To succeed in this role, you will need:


- An academic degree in Engineering, preferably with a Ph.D. or Master's degree from a technical college (FH) or University (TH, TU), in the fields of metallurgy, fluid bed technology, process technology, or chemical engineering.

- Knowledge in base metals or fluid bed technology.

- Proficient working experience in a team environment with cross-functional groups.

- Fluent spoken and written communication skills in English. Additional language skills are highly welcome.

- Willingness to travel worldwide, including working in project teams abroad for troubleshooting and commissioning.

- Ability to support and coach others to achieve success collaboratively.

- Good knowledge of process engineering software (such as HSC, HSC-SIM, or Aspen).
