About the Role
The firm is seeking a highly experienced attorney to join its nationally recognized Tax practice as Of Counsel, with a primary focus on non-profit tax matters. This is a 75% reduced hours arrangement, offering the opportunity to lead sophisticated, high-impact work on a more flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on structuring complex entities and transactions involving both non-profits and for-profits.
- Counsel high-profile clients on tax-exempt issues, multi-generational gifting vehicles, and charitable planning.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys across practices to provide integrated solutions on transactions, operational tax planning, and compliance.
- Clearly and concisely communicate complex tax concepts in oral and written form.
Key Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience with a strong focus on non-profit tax law.
- Demonstrated ability to structure sophisticated, multi-layered transactions.
- Strong work ethic, leadership skills, and success working in collaborative environments.
- Licensed to practice law in the applicable office state or eligible to waive in.
