A leading law firm is hiring a senior-level associate (4+ years) to join its Commercial Real Estate Finance practice in New York. The team represents commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, debt funds, and other regulated and non-regulated lenders in high-value financing transactions across all commercial property asset classes.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience originating mortgage, mezzanine, and construction loans, with additional exposure to loan syndication and securitization. Experience in work-outs, restructurings, and foreclosures is a plus. Candidates are expected to act in a senior capacity, managing complex transactions and interfacing directly with clients.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • 4+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance at a top law firm
  • Experience representing lenders in origination of:
  • Mortgage loans
  • Mezzanine loans
  • Construction loans
  • Exposure to loan syndication and securitization
  • Bonus: experience with work-outs, restructuring, or foreclosure/remedies
  • Strong deal management and client communication skills
  • Admission to practice law in New York, or eligibility to be admitted


Compensation:

Base salary range: $310,000 – $460,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Bonus eligible.
