Job Description:


Overview:

Reporting directly to the principal attorney, the associate attorney must excel as both a team player and an individual contributor, managing their caseload with precision. They should demonstrate unwavering dedication to achieving stellar outcomes for our clients through astute and assertive advocacy. A strong work ethic, coupled with a proactive mindset, is essential, along with the ability to foster positive relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Leadership prowess, along with exceptional oral advocacy, writing, and negotiation skills, is paramount.


Qualifications:

Graduate of a U.S. accredited law school.

Licensed to practice law in Florida, in good standing with The Florida Bar.

Minimum 5 years of experience in business law, with commercial litigation expertise.


Responsibilities:

Manage a substantial caseload efficiently.

Handle all aspects of cases from inception to resolution.

Draft and file pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda, conducting comprehensive legal research as needed.

Attend depositions, prepare witnesses, handle court hearings, and manage trials when necessary.

Develop strategic plans and provide client counsel, acting as the primary liaison between the firm and clients.

Conduct or oversee client and third-party interviews.

Exercise independent judgment on case matters.

Regularly communicate with clients and stakeholders to advance cases toward resolution.

Provide leadership and guidance to paralegals and legal assistants.

Devise and execute a business development plan, approved by the Managing Partner, involving networking, writing, and speaking engagements.

Participate in regular meetings with the Managing Partner to discuss case status, workload, and firm-related issues.

Collaborate effectively within the team, leveraging varied levels of experience.

Nurture relationships with current and prospective clients.

Participate in monthly case reviews.

Ensure prompt communication and correspondence with clients and stakeholders.

Analyze legal issues and documentation pertinent to each case.

Maintain strong client rapport through consistent communication and comprehensive advisement.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Stuart, FL, with potential for hybrid arrangements.


Salary: $100,000 to $130,000, depending on experience.
