Hot Springs, VA Permanent / Full Time The Venue Director is responsible for the successful management of the venue. They will be tasked with maintaining profitability, and happy clients.

Job Summary:


Are you a people person with a knack for leadership? We've got an exciting role as a Venue Director that could be your perfect match!


In this role, you'd be the beating heart of your assigned venue. Your mission is to keep things running smoothly, reach sales and operational goals, and ensure everyone - hotel partners, clients, and team members - is having a great experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead with excellence in all event stages, keeping top-tier customer service for everyone involved.
  • Keep floor operations smooth, ensuring speedy and accurate setup and breakdown of equipment.
  • Review P&L to maintain profitability, smartly managing expenses and resources.
  • Take care of inventory, ensuring its quality, organization, and availability.
  • Participate in hotel meetings when needed.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and innovations.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with venue partners.
  • Represent our client as a trusted partner during hotel meetings and customer visits.
  • Ensure all payments are made on time.
  • Manage billing and invoicing promptly; uphold financial management SOPs.
  • Use the Sales Process to boost revenue and improve the sales cycle.
  • Train and manage team members, fostering high customer service standards and a culture of achievement.
  • Effectively use company computer systems and keep improving your technical skills.
  • Provide tech support for events when needed.
  • Delegate tasks effectively as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and SOPs. Perform any other duties assigned.



Education & Experience:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of management-level experience in the audio-visual and/or hospitality industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience aligning team members behind common goals.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships (with internal teams and external partners).
