Mid level Associate Attorney - Tax
Location: Atlanta, New York City, or Washington D.C.
An AM Law 200 firm has an opening for a highly qualified mid level associate for its Tax practice in Atlanta, New York City, or Washington D.C.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-6 years of transactional tax experience in real estate funds/JVs, Private Equity and Strategic M&A, finance and restructuring, and tax controversy work.
- Fund formation and partnership tax experience, structuring of inbound foreign investment, and REIT and real estate finance experience
- Prior experience within a large law firm environment
- Exceptional client management skills
- Strong academic qualifications from a reputable law school.
The starting base salary for this position is from $260,000 to $390,000 annually.
Actual salary will be determined based on skills, relevant experience and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
