A leading law firm is seeking attorneys with a strong interest in transactional work to join their Private Equity practice as part of their Professional Track Attorney program in the Boston office. Job Summary:

As a Private Equity Attorney, you will be immediately integrated into the Private Equity practice group, working on a variety of client projects across different practices, industries, and borders. This role involves handling due diligence on M&A transactions, supporting leveraged buy-out transactions, and representing clients in equity grants and corporate governance matters. Strong performance can potentially lead to promotion and varied experiences within the practice.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct due diligence for M&A transactions.
  • Support leveraged buy-out transactions in all aspects.
  • Represent clients in daily matters, including equity grants and corporate governance.
  • Communicate effectively with partners, clients, and third parties.
  • Produce timely and accurate legal work products.
  • Manage deadlines and perform well under pressure.
  • Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and staff.
  • Travel as required for client meetings, advocacy, and business development.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 3 years of transactional law experience.
  • Experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm or with the SEC.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Excellent business judgment and attention to detail.

Work Environment:
