About the Energy & Infrastructure Projects Practice

The firm’s Energy & Infrastructure Projects group advises clients on some of the most significant energy and infrastructure transactions worldwide, including conventional and renewable power, oil and gas, LNG, transportation, and industrial projects. The team routinely handles large-scale project financings, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, and related development work, offering fully integrated counsel across disciplines.


About the Role

The firm is seeking a mid to senior level associate (JD classes 2019–2021) to join its Energy & Infrastructure Projects practice in Houston. This is an opportunity to lead on sophisticated financings, acquisitions, and dispositions within the energy and infrastructure sectors, working alongside top-tier clients and attorneys.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on project financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and related transactional work in the energy and infrastructure space.
  • Lead aspects of transactions from structuring and negotiation through diligence and closing.
  • Coordinate closely with attorneys across practices to deliver seamless, business-focused legal solutions.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on complex commercial and regulatory considerations impacting transactions.


Key Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in financing and/or M&A transactions within a respected law firm environment.
  • Experience leading project finance matters or acquisition and disposition transactions is strongly preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials and demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work product and client service.
