About the Role: An Am Law 200 Firm is seeking a Patent Prosecution Associate or Patent Agent to join its Intellectual Property Practice in the Boston office. This role is part of the Chemical/Pharmaceutical/Biotech team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and prosecute patents in materials science or chemistry.
• Draft patent applications.
• Engage in patent diligence (experience not required).

Qualifications:

• Experience: 4+ years of experience in patent prosecution, preferably in materials science or chemistry.
• Education: Advanced degree (PhD) or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Licensing: Registration with the USPTO required; Massachusetts bar license or willingness to obtain is required for associates.
• Skills: Team-oriented, enthusiastic, and interested in expanding skills.
