Associate - Leveraged Finance (4-5 Years)

Job Summary: We are looking for a mid-level associate with 4-5 years of legal experience in sophisticated leveraged financing transactions to join a Finance Practice Group in Boston.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, and financial institutions in debt financing transactions.
• Provide legal guidance to clients on structuring and executing leverage finance transactions.
• Draft and review finance documents such as credit and service agreements, high yield bond indentures, commitment letters, term sheets, security agreements, guarantee agreements, intercreditor agreements, and subordination agreements.
• Support clients during and after transactions to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Stay current on industry trends and legal developments to provide top-tier advice.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• 4-5 years of experience at a large law firm representing private equity sponsors, corporate borrowers, and/or lenders in leveraged finance transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Excellent academic record and a J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to and good standing with the Massachusetts Bar.
• Experience working in a global team environment is preferred.
