The role involves working on large, high-profile Chapter 11 cases, distressed workouts, and complex restructurings representing creditors, debtors, asset purchasers, and other stakeholders. The work includes both transactional and litigation elements, offering a dynamic and fast-paced practice.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • 2–4 years of experience at a major law firm
  • Background in Chapter 11 proceedings, workouts, or distressed transactions
  • Experience representing creditors (lenders, bondholders, trade creditors), debtors, or asset purchasers
  • Familiarity with both transactional and litigation aspects of restructuring
  • Strong writing, analytical, and client management skills
  • J.D. and admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility)


Compensation:

Base salary range: $235,000 – $265,000, commensurate with experience. Bonus eligible.
