Role Overview: The firm is seeking a talented and motivated Capital Markets Associate with a focus on Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) to join its London office. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile and complex transactions within a supportive and dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on a range of transactions involving securitization, structured finance, and structured products.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents related to ABS and other financial transactions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support transaction structuring and client advice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory developments, and legal precedents impacting the capital markets sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing high-quality and commercially astute advice.
  • Assist in business development activities, including client presentations and networking events.


Qualifications:

  • Completed an English training contract (2 years).
  • Qualified solicitor with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Significant experience in finance, with a focus on securitization, structured finance, and structured products.
  • Strong analytical and drafting skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
