Patent Prosecution Associate

Location: Austin, New York, or Washington, D.C.

Experience: 2-3 years

Key Requirements:

• 2-3 years of patent prosecution experience
• BS in computer science background
• Graduate or undergraduate coursework in artificial intelligence, virtual reality, machine learning, natural language processing, blockchain, and/or bioinformatics
• Advanced degree in artificial intelligence (preferred)
• Prior technical experience at an AI company or startup (helpful)

Starting Salary:

$110,000 - $180,000 annually (based on experience and other factors)

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of patent prosecution matters, including drafting and filing patent applications, responding to office actions, and conducting patent searches. They will work closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop and implement effective patent strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in artificial intelligence or a related field, as well as experience in patent prosecution.
