Position Overview

The firm is seeking a midlevel or mid-to-senior level private equity attorney to join their Philadelphia office. Successful candidates will work with the busy Private Equity team in New York representing middle market and lower middle market private equity funds, family offices and independent sponsors in their investment strategies, including leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, structured equity investments, and other strategic transactions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Gain experience as responsible attorney on M&A transactions
  • Collaborate across practice groups and offices
  • Engage in business development activities
  • Work in a small office atmosphere with the resources of an AM Law 200 firm
  • Receive training opportunities with growing levels of responsibility


  • Qualifications
  • Licensed to practice since 2020 or earlier
  • Law firm experience with private equity transactions and direct client interaction
  • Undergraduate degree in business
  • Excellent law school and undergraduate credentials and references
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Analytical skills
