About the Role:

A leading global law firm is seeking a senior associate (Class of 2017-2019) to join our Real Estate group in Los Angeles OR Chicago. As a lateral associate, you'll be part of a team of experienced attorneys working on complex real estate transactions, including M&A, private equity, and financing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on a variety of real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, leasing, and restructurings
• Drafting and reviewing complex legal documents
• Conducting due diligence
• Representing clients in negotiations and closings

Qualifications:

• Class of 2017-2019 graduate
• 5+ years of relevant law firm experience, including:
• Real estate M&A transactions
• Private equity transactions
• Real estate financing
• Joint venture formation
• Leasing
• Restructurings
• Strong academic record
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for real estate law

Compensation:

• Starting base salary expected to be $365,000- $420,000 annually
