Developer Experience Software Engineer (Remote), Singapore/London

We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Developer Experience Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the developer experience within our company. Your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining and extending our developer tools and SDKs to ensure they meet the needs of our developers.

- Writing and updating documentation to provide clear and comprehensive guidance to developers.

- Actively participating in technical discussions on various platforms like Slack, Discord, and Telegram to contribute to the developer community.

- Acting as a liaison between developers and our internal teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and efficient communication.

- Collaborating with external teams to raise awareness of the resources and facilities available for developers.

- Assisting with hackathons and other developer initiatives to foster creativity and engagement.

- Contributing to the planning and execution of our developer engagement roadmap to drive continuous improvement.

To succeed in this role, you should be proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while seeking guidance when needed. Additionally, you should be comfortable working with a variety of programming languages, including Python, Java, Rust, C++, and TypeScript.

Requirements:

- A degree in a numerate subject, preferably computer science.

- Strong computer science knowledge and the ability to quickly understand and analyze code.

- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and systems, with the ability to learn new ones rapidly.

- Good familiarity with Linux and OS X operating systems.

- Working knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes is advantageous.

- Some experience using Rust is desirable.
