Trademark Associate

Location: Dallas

An AM Law 200 firm seeks a skilled Trademark Associate with 2-5 years of experience representing major brand owners to join their Dallas-based Trademark practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment, working with a diverse portfolio of established brands.

This role will involve all aspects of trademark practice, offering the chance to hone your skills in:

• Trademark Clearance: Conducting comprehensive searches and providing analysis to assess the availability of proposed marks.
• Trademark Prosecution: Preparing and filing trademark applications, responding to office actions, and managing the prosecution process.
• Trademark Counseling: Advising clients on strategic trademark matters, including brand development, portfolio management, and licensing.
• Trademark Enforcement: Protecting clients' trademark rights through cease and desist letters, opposition proceedings, and litigation.

Requirements:

• Admitted to the Texas state bar.
• 2-5 years of experience in trademark law, specifically representing large brand owners.
• Experience in a large law firm setting is preferred.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent legal writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• References and writing samples are required

The expected salary for this position is from $225,000 - $390,000. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent, with applicable law.
