Company Description

Gagasan Solar is a solar energy developer and investment firm. We invest in, and develop Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar plants on the rooftops of C&I buildings such as factories and shopping malls, for zero upfront cost. We subsequently sell the solar energy to our C&I clients at a lower tariff rate than their existing electricity provider.

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and self-driven Personal Assistant with strong communication, coordination and writing skills. This role requires a highly-organised multitasker who is able to perform under pressure and tight deadlines, on top of being adaptable to changes in their day-to-day. The ideal candidate has strong attention-to-detail and is capable of achieving results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As the nature of work is highly sensitive and involves confidentiality, candidates who display integrity, discretion and professionalism will be prioritised.

This role differs from other Personal Assistant roles in that the candidate should also have an eye for generating social media content, as they are required to shadow the CEO where necessary and accumulate media content for the marketing team's efforts.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Organise and coordinate schedules, calendars, meetings, conferences and travel arrangements
  • Outreach - coordinating administrative matters with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Research relevant events and stakeholders for the company to participate in or engage
  • Ensure that CEO is well-briefed and prepared for any engagements
  • Preparing, coordinating and submitting applications
  • Compilation, management and safekeeping of confidential documents and information - both softcopies and hardcopies
  • Reminding the CEO of important tasks and deadlines
  • Generate social media content by taking pictures and videos while shadowing the CEO for the marketing team's efforts
  • Undertake ad-hoc functions, assignments and related duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's Degree or minimum Diploma is preferred
  • Excellent English, fluent spoken Malay and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
  • Excellent written communication skills in English
  • Demonstrate an eye for social media management - as you will be taking pictures and videos of the CEO for the marketing team
  • Demonstrated computer literacy (MS Office, Excel and Power Point) and proficiency working with smartphones
  • Must be willing to travel (domestic and international)
  • Ability to exercise a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
  • High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people
  • Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance
  • Exceptional organisational skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities with timely resolution demonstrating an awareness of knowing when to elevate concerns or issues
