Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Construction Project Manager responsible for overseeing the construction project’s safety, quality, schedule, cost control, and more. This role includes managing contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, proposals, estimates, and documentation turnover. The successful candidate will also handle client relations/management, field staff, and related duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review contracts and create new files using our construction software
- Monitor all stages of jobs and update files
- Adhere to and promote the company's safety programs and policies
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities and execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Develop and manage client relationships
- Ensure compliance with contract terms for quality, schedule, estimating, and profitability
- Manage multiple projects and work crews
- Inspect work in progress for compliance with specifications and schedules
- Plan construction sequencing, staffing, and subcontractor coordination
- Coordinate with associated trades for efficient workflow
- Equipment coordination
- Provide training to relevant staff if needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
- Diverse experience with grading, stormwater, and site utilities projects is essential
- 7+ years of experience in commercial construction projects is a plus
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Scheduling, Email, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of job site safety and construction equipment
- Organizational skills including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking
- Strong work ethic and adherence to safety practices
- Valid driver's license
