A leading U.S. law firm is seeking a mid-level associate (3+ years) to join its Capital Markets practice in Charlotte. The role involves representing banks and financial institutions in a range of structured lending and repurchase facility transactions, including warehouse lending, whole loan trades, and secured financings backed by commercial and residential real estate assets.

The position offers hands-on work with complex structured finance products including CRE CLOs, CLOs, CMBS, MSRs, SFR, and ABL structures, in a highly collaborative and technically rigorous environment.


Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • 3+ years of experience advising on repurchase agreements, warehouse lending, or secured financing
  • Strong law firm background with transactional experience representing institutional lenders
  • Experience in:
  • ☐ Master repurchase agreements
  • ☐ Warehouse facilities
  • ☐ Whole loan trades
  • ☐ Structured repurchase and asset-backed transactions
  • Familiarity with CRE CLOs, CMBS, CLOs, SFR, MSRs, or other ABL finance products is a plus
  • J.D. and admission to practice in North Carolina, or eligibility to be admitted


Compensation:

Base salary range: $235,000 – $390,000, commensurate with experience and location. Bonus eligible.
