Mid to Senior Level Associate Attorney - ERISA/Fiduciary

Their prestigious client base includes major sports associations, Fortune 500 companies, insurance providers, and other prominent organizations.

Position Overview: The firm seeks a mid to senior level attorney with experience representing institutional investors to join their Fiduciary practice group as an associate or counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise institutional benefit plan investors
• Review and negotiate key plan service provider arrangements
• Work on investment deals involving various asset classes/strategies
• Handle matters related to private funds, investment management agreements, collective investment trusts, and mutual fund participation agreements
• Apply knowledge of Title I of ERISA, including key prohibited transaction exemptions
• Review and negotiate plan service provider agreements (e.g., trust/custodial and recordkeeping agreements) is a plus

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Superior academic credentials
• Excellent analytical and strong writing skills
• Ability to negotiate with fund and service provider counsel
• Interest in ERISA
• Experience in securities and banking law is preferred
• Familiarity with QPAM, 408(b)(17), and 408(b)(8) exemptions
