Summary
A leading law firm is seeking a junior associate to join its growing National Security & Global Trade practice. This position is based in the Washington, D.C. office.
Education
Bar Admission
- Must be admitted to practice in Washington, D.C.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience with export controls, ITAR, CFIUS, sanctions, and other trade-related areas
- Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience
- Government and/or agency experience preferred

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Pay Transparency
The expected annual pay range for this position, if hired to work in Washington, D.C., is $260,000 – $390,000 per year. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will depend on various factors, including the candidate's geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications. A comprehensive package of benefits is offered, including medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k).
