A top-ranked law firm is seeking mid-level to senior associates with 3+ years of experience to join its Capital Markets and Structured Finance group in Charlotte. The practice is widely recognized for advising on a broad range of asset-backed securities, structured products, and securitized transactions, spanning real estate, corporate, and esoteric asset classes.

The role involves working with financial institutions, issuers, and asset managers on complex financing structures, including CLOs, CMBS, and asset-backed lending (ABL).

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in securitization, structured finance, structured products, or real estate/corporate finance
  • Solid law firm transactional training
  • Bonus: Exposure to CLOs, CMBS, repo agreements, or other ABL finance structures
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and deal execution skills
  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina, or eligible for admission


Compensation:

Base salary range: $260,000 – $435,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Bonus eligible.
