Job Description
The firm is seeking a mid to senior-level private equity attorney to join its New York office. The successful candidate will work with the Private Equity team, representing middle market and lower middle market private equity funds, family offices, and independent sponsors in various investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as responsible attorney on M&A transactions
- Collaborate across practice groups and offices
- Engage in business development activities
- Receive training opportunities with increasing levels of responsibility
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice since 2020 or earlier
- Law firm experience with private equity transactions and direct client interaction
- Excellent law school and undergraduate credentials
- Strong business acumen (undergraduate degree in business preferred)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Team-oriented with keen interest in relationship building
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience working with diverse cultures and backgrounds
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $240,000 - $375,000 (dependent on experience)
