Patent Prosecution Associate - Life Sciences

Location: Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, New York, or Washington D.C.

Salary: $235,000 - $390,000

We seek a patent prosecution associate with a minimum of one year of legal practice, ideally at a law firm, to join the firm's life sciences team in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, New York, or Washington D.C. offices.

Requirements:

• Hold a PhD (or MD with research experience) in fields such as organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, microbiology, oncology, gene editing, gene therapy, or related disciplines
• Bar admission in relevant jurisdictions (California, Washington State, New York, or Washington D.C.)
• Membership (or eligibility) in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills

Salary Range: $235,000 - $390,000. The actual salary offered may vary based on qualifications, experience, education, certifications, licenses, and location.
