Fund Finance Associate (3–6+ Years)

Industry: Fund Finance / Lending / Structured Finance

Location: Charlotte, NC (also open to New York or London)

A top-tier law firm is hiring a mid-level associate (3–6+ years) for its Fund Finance practice, with openings in Charlotte, New York, or London. The role involves representing leading banks, asset managers, and institutional lenders in a wide range of subscription credit facilities, NAV financings, leveraged lending, and structured fund transactions.

Associates gain hands-on deal ownership, access to premier clients, and training from partners considered best-in-class in this space. The practice is lean, entrepreneurial, and highly active, offering rapid professional development in a supportive, high-performance environment.

What Associates Say

Associates describe the team as fast-paced, collaborative, and deeply technical. You’ll regularly interface with clients, negotiate directly with counterparties, and draft complex lending documents. Junior and mid-level lawyers value the exposure to both U.S. and international transactions, the depth of mentorship, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients. While the deal flow is steady and sometimes intense, the work is viewed as both challenging and rewarding.
