Position Overview:

We are looking for a Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney to join Am Law 100's growing IP Litigation practice. This position offers flexibility in office location across several major cities. We seek talented patent litigators who are eager to make a significant impact within a dynamic team.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Litigation Management:
  • Handle patent and/or trade secret litigation cases, providing expert legal support and strategy.
  • Client Counseling:
  • Advise clients on intellectual property matters, helping them navigate ongoing legal challenges.
  • Research and Analysis:
  • Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis on various IP issues.
  • Leadership and Responsibility:
  • Take on increased responsibility in managing client matters and leading litigation efforts.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience:
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in intellectual property litigation, particularly in patents and trade secrets.
  • Educational Background:
  • Strong academic credentials in law.
  • Preferred undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Genetics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering. Other related degrees may be considered with significant experience.
  • Bar Admission:
  • Must be admitted to a state bar.
  • Skills:
  • Outstanding research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and leadership capabilities.
  • Comprehensive legal and business knowledge in handling a broad range of cases.

Salary and Benefits:

The annual salary ranges for this position, depending on location, are as follows: $260,000 to $365,000
