Position Overview

The firm is seeking attorneys with at least 4 years of law firm corporate transactional experience to join their team in Columbus and Indianapolis offices. Successful candidates will work with attorneys across several offices representing buy-side and sell-side clients in all forms of mergers, acquisitions, strategic alliances, and financing transactions of all sizes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with a sophisticated and busy transactional practice
  • Manage transactions including M&A, private equity, and financing transactions
  • Collaborate across practice groups and offices
  • Engage in business development activities
  • Receive training opportunities with growing levels of responsibility


Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice since 2019 or earlier
  • Recent law firm experience
  • Experience preparing complex transactions and agreements
  • Experience preparing disclosure documents and ancillary agreements
  • Experience interacting directly with clients
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Team-oriented mentality
  • Highly motivated
  • Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience working with diverse cultures and backgrounds
