Patent Litigation Associate (Mid-Senior Level) - Remote/Hybrid/In-Office

The Am Law 200 Firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group is hiring a mid-senior level patent litigation associate. This role can be based in any of their U.S. offices or worked fully remote.
The key responsibilities include:
- Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses, and other litigation documents
- Handling patent claim construction/Markman proceedings
- Taking/defending depositions
- Managing all aspects of fact and expert discovery
- Preparing for trials and hearings, including exhibits, motions in limine, etc.
- Potential to handle appeals before the Federal Circuit
- Supervising and mentoring junior associates
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of patent litigation experience
- Experience with infringement/invalidity analysis
- Patent trial experience is a plus
- Licensed to practice before the USPTO
- Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related technical field preferred
- Exceptional writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Strong academic credentials

Salary ranges from $200K-350K depending on office location, with potential additional performance-based compensation. Comprehensive benefits provided.
In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated annual salary ranges for this position, depending on location, are as follows.
Providence, RI: $200,000 to $220,000
Los Angeles, CA: $325,000 to $350,000
San Francisco, CA: $325,000 to $350,000
Albany, NY: $200,000 to $220,000
Long Island, NY: $240,000 to $265,000
New York, NY: $325,000 to $350,000
Rochester, NY: $200,000 to $220,000
