Intellectual Property Litigation Associate

A law firm is seeking an associate with 3-5 years of experience to join the Intellectual Property ('IP') practice group in the Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, or Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have experience in litigation, trade secrets, and other soft IP matters. While a bachelor's degree or advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer science is preferred, it is not required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in IP litigation, focusing on trade secrets and soft IP issues.
  • Conduct insightful research and analysis.
  • Draft persuasive legal documents and participate in litigation processes.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in IP litigation, including trade secrets and soft IP.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
  • Ability to assume immediate responsibility and work collaboratively in a high-performing team.


Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active and in good standing membership in the Illinois, California, New York, or District of Columbia Bar.

Compensation and Benefits: The anticipated salary range is $215,000 to $310,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
