Legal Assistant: Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Administration and Guardianship

Location: Jupiter, Florida

Salary: $45,000 to $52,000 annually


An established Jupiter law firm seeks an experienced and organized Legal Assistant to join their growing team.

Working hours: Monday – Thursdays (8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M) and Friday (8:30 A.M. to 2:00 P.M).


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist in drafting and executing estate planning documents.
  • Manage probate, trust, and guardianship matters from opening to closing.
  • Work with attorneys, legal assistants, and administrative staff.
  • Utilize legal software to manage workflow and track deadlines.
  • Perform client intake, data entry, and scheduling tasks.
  • Coordinate document drafting, production, and client communication.
  • Act as a Witness or Notary during document signings.
  • Provide accurate legal information to clients.
  • Maintain calendars and manage schedules.
  • Perform general clerical duties.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years' experience as a legal assistant (estate planning, probate, trust administration, or guardianship experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with legal database management or billing programs.
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (scanners, printers, fax machines).
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Fluency in Spanish (a plus).
  • High school diploma required; college degree, certifications, or trainings (a plus).
