Associate Attorney - Mergers & Acquisitions

An AM Law 200 firm is in search of a mid-level associate (i.e 3-6 years of experience) to join its Corporate/M&A practice practice in Chicago.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

3-6 years of experience working on US and cross-border M&A transactions.
Experience in public and private M&A, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, private equity and venture capital investments, shareholder activism and takeover defense counseling, and corporate governance.
Strong academic qualifications and prior experience within a large law firm environment
Exceptional client management skills

The starting base salary for this position is from $260,000 to $390,000 annually.

Actual salary will be determined based on skills, relevant experience and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
