Position Overview: We are seeking an associate with 3-5 years of experience specializing in executive compensation and benefits. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling labor and employment law matters, as well as ERISA-related issues. This role provides an opportunity to work on high-impact matters related to senior executive compensation, offering exposure to complex, high-profile cases.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on executive compensation, including equity compensation plans, incentive plans, and deferred compensation arrangements.
  • Assist with employee benefit plan matters related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Provide counsel on ERISA compliance, including reporting, disclosure, and fiduciary obligations.
  • Collaborate with the labor and employment team to address employment agreements, severance packages, and labor issues.
  • Handle matters involving tax implications of executive compensation programs.


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in executive compensation and benefits.
  • Familiarity with labor and employment law and ERISA.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Admission to the New York Bar or ability to waive in.

Compensation: The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $250,000 to $345,000, depending on the applicant's qualifications, years of experience, and location of work.
